AlloyGlow

Sunglasses

These sunglasses were designed as part of my bachelor's thesis in Colombia with the aim of improving the industrial use of magnesium (Mg) coatings.

In collaboration with the University of Antioquia and Colciencias, research was conducted on the sensory characterization of metal samples and Mg coatings. All this with the aim of determining their applicability in product design .

Conclusions

The application of traditional methods for material selection is important to guide the choice of raw materials, taking material properties into account. Sensory analysis tests support such material selection and add value to the material's sensory and intangible properties by understanding the direct relationship between them and the user during the use of the material in an industrial product.
